Dream Safari and the YUK FUN Pop-up Shop
It seems like years ago now, but during the hot hot month of July we took over 114 Church Street in the centre of Brighton. Inside we set up a YUK FUN pop-up shop and installed Dream Safari, a special exhibition of our favourite illustrators. The group show included artwork by Eva Stalinski, Wai Wai Pang, Soña Lee, Charlotte Dumortier, Helena Covell, Nicole Cmar, Ed Cheverton, Jon Boam, Tom Ashton-Booth (and us too!).

The space was nice and big so we brought all of our stuff, including sweatshirts, T-shirts, tops, short, bags, stickers and enamel pins. It took about five trips in our Ford Fiesta so we might have to hire a van next time!
Decoration along the top of the changing room
We also included stuff made by the exhibiting illustrators including enamel pins, badges, comic books, postcards, zines and mini prints.

We also ran a drawing workshop one evening. We played some fun drawing games such as picture consequences (aka exquisite corpse) and portraits without looking at the paper. We plan to organise a regular drawing club in Brighton, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
